Polynucleotide treatments at The Wellington Clinic

We provide Polynucleotide treatments at The Wellington Clinic, a renowned award winning clinic in London. Ameela, formerly known as Nucleadyn is a Polynucleotide treatment that stimulates natural regeneration of the facial tissues.

It restores firmness and elasticity improving tightness and contour and it reduces fine lines and wrinkles. It also provides intense moisturisation and hydration, and it detoxifies the skin of free radicals helping to prevent premature aging and reverse early signs of aging. Ameela can be used alone as a skin regenerator or alongside botox and dermal fillers.

What is Ameela?

Ameela is a Polynucleotide. Polynucleotides are the latest advancement in facial aesthetics and are becoming very popular for their regenerative capabilities. Polynucleotides attract stem cells to the area and initiate a natural regeneration process within your skin. Nucleotides are the building blocks of DNA in your body and they are responsible for cell regeneration and repair.

Ameela Polynucleotide Treatment stimulates collagen production, improves elasticity, firmness and hydration and initiates deep tissue repair by attracting stem cells to the area. It also helps protect the skin from free radical and cellular damage.

Ameela is a bio-restructuring product which encourages regeneration of all the tissue layers from the skin, fat tissue, muscle and even the bone. Long term use will not only prevent premature aging but it will create stronger more resilient skin that is better hydrated and restored.

Introduction

  • Is Ameela a dermal filler, a skin booster or a biostimulator?

Ameela is not a dermal filler.

Ameela does not contain hyaluronic acid like hyaluronic acid skin boosters such as Profhilo.

Ameela contains fragments of DNA called nucleotides which not only hydrate the skin but they cause regeneration of the facial tissues. Polynucleotides are biostimulators and regenerators. DNA repairs cells and Polynucleotides are designed to do this. They even increase healing after surgery.

  • How does Ameela work?

Ameela Polynucleotides are injected into the face. The polynucleotides bind to receptors within the tissues which initiate skin stimulation and regeneration of the face. The product is fully absorbed in 14 days at which time it is recommended to have a second course to maintain the stimulation for 1 month which would allow sufficient time for skin regeneration to take effect and for it to last 6-8 months.

  • The Ameela Procedure

At your consultation your skin will first be fully assessed and treatment areas identified. Your skin is then cleansed and disinfected and the Polynucleotide injections may then be administered by cannula or needle depending on the location and issues that need to be addressed.

You can see results after just one treatment, however you should have a second treatment at 2 weeks in order to maintain your results for 6-8 months.

Book a consultation with Dr Marjan Goodacre for a full assessment and treatment plan.
