Dermal Fillers & Wrinkles
Keep looking wonderful thanks to the superb skills of our award-winning team. We offer the same quality of dermal fillers and lip fillers at our dental clinic in Reigate as at our renowned Chelsea practice, welcoming you in exceptional comfort and style.
Which dermal filler should I choose?
At The Wellington Clinic we have carefully selected top brands to nurture your skin.
Our dermal fillers have undergone many years of laboratory testing and research and have exceptional properties: they are based on hyaluronic acid, which naturally exists within the skin and does not provoke the reactions seen with other silicone or collagen fillers. Instead, it gives volume, shape, hydration and elasticity.
Our favourites are the TEOXANE TEOSYAL and JUVÉDERM® VYCROSS ranges.
What happens during the procedure?
We accurately evaluate and discuss with you the best options and techniques required for your case to give you the most aesthetic natural results. All of our fillers contain anaesthetic to make it super comfortable. We inject the dermal filler with a very fine needle or a blunt-ended cannula. In some situations we use a numbing cream to numb the area prior to treatment.
The results are outstanding. You will see the difference immediately and the effects generally last 12 months or longer.

Lip Border
If your lips are not as defined as they used to be, border line lip fillers can be used to enhance the definition and outline of your lips. This lip filler treatment in Surrey is also ideal for anyone who is developing lip lines (also known as smokers lines or barcode lines). Lip lines develop as volume is lost in our lips and in the tissues around our lips. Lip lines can be frustrating as they cause lipstick to bleed. More importantly lip lines change the shape of the lips, ageing the entire face and can even cause further creasing and loss of volume around the lips.
-
Lip Body
If you love the shape of your lips and simply want to add volume, lip body enhancement can be done for you. Lip body treatments can be used for a subtle enhancement or a noticeable change. If you want a subtle enhancement it will simply make your lips feel and look healthier and more hydrated. If however you want a noticeable change in volume this can also be done with Lip Body Treatments. The placement of filler is positioned accurately to maintain the natural feel and movement of your lips. This technique ensures a natural appearance of your new enhanced lips.

Cupid Bow Lips
The Cupid Bow is the V-shape contour in the centre of the upper lip that forms the 2 peaks and bow shaped upper lip. Cupid Bow Lip Filler Treatments can be used to enhance the Cupid Bow to create more curvature and shape of the upper lip. This lip filler in Surrey will help contour the lips if you don’t like your flat upper lip. If you would like to further enhance your Cupid Bow then you may require the additional support of the Philtrum Column filler treatment.
-
Philtrum Column
The Philtrum Columns are the raised vertical columns that extend from the peaks of the upper lip to the nose. Some people have very well-defined natural Philtrum columns and others have an entirely flat area above the lip with no column shape.
If you would like to enhance the shape of your Philtrum Columns this treatment is for you. There are different reasons for having Philtrum Column Filler Treatment other than creating the Column contouring you may be fond of.
Creating a Philtrum Column will add curve and contouring to the area above the upper lip. As we age the area above the upper lip flattens and lengthens and so this treatment is ideal to bring back the youthful curvy and well supported upper lip area.
If you feel the area above your upper lip is too long this treatment can also help to create the youthful curves, structure and support which will also help to make this area appear shorter and better supported.
If you feel the border of your upper lip is too flat and you would like to enhance the Cupid Bow appearance further this treatment will help support the Cupid Bow enhancement and add further curvature of the upper lip.

Lower Face Filler Treatments
These treatments are important to consider if you want to improve your lips. The skin surrounding the lips are essential in providing strength and support for the lips.
Therefore when these surrounding tissues are treated correctly, the final lip appearance is enhanced as well as enhancing the lower half of the face.

Cheek augmentation
This is a highly effective treatment not only to enhance the cheek bones but also to lift the skin and reduce facial lines and sagging.
Cheek fillers can be used to create better facial structures and support. For women wanting a high cheek bone or better definition of their faces this treatment can create beautiful results. For men who want a more structured face, cheek augmentation can help to create that.
If you are happy with the shapes of your cheeks but would instead like to have a mini face lift, this can also be done. Cheek augmentation can be used to simply lift the skin and reduce the heaviness that develops around the mouth and cheeks.
Smile line filler is also a perfect way to reduce smile lines and to stop them from getting worse. Cheek augmentation is also good to help reduce a tired facial appearance and to reduce a dark or hollow under eye area.
-
Tear trough filler
This treatment is perfect for those with tired looking eyes, dark circles, hollows or deep grooves below your eyes. This treatment also helps support the delicate skin below the eyes.
-
Nose filler
Nose reshaping, also known as non-surgical rhinoplasty, is great for those who want to avoid nose surgery. Nose filler in Reigate can help to align the nose or improve a hump on the nose or create a better defined ridge.
-
Temple filler
These treatments are ideal for those with hollow temples on the sides of their heads. This treatment is not only useful to improve the hollows but to also support and lift the skin from lower down.
-
Brow filler
These treatments are great to help lift the brows where they will have dropped down over the years. This treatment restores the shape of the bone beneath the brow creating a better supported eyebrow.
-
Forehead filler
These treatments are great to improve stubborn lines and creases or to restore the curve back into the forehead. As we age the forehead will flatten and lengthen. This treatment helps to minimise the effects of forehead ageing.

Lower Face Fillers
Saggy skin and lines around the mouth look tired and sad. Lower face filler treatments reduce these creases and support lips better. Treatment options at our Reigate clinic include lip lines filler, nasolabial smile lines filler, marionette lines filler, mental lines filler and other smile lines filler treatments.
-
Nasolabial smile lines
These smile lines extend from the corner of the nose almost to the corner of the mouth. The biggest deficiency that develops for some people is at the corner of the tip of the nose making a shadow in these areas.
For others the nasolabial lines are most severe on smiling but when they begin to be visible at rest it is a good time to start addressing them.
-
Marionette lines
These lines extend from the corners of the mouth downwards and can contribute to a downward smile giving a saddened appearance. Marionette lines can also occasionally be so severe that the corners of the mouth get sore all the time from saliva collecting there. Strengthening of the marionette lines with dermal filler provides better shape and support of the lips and also the lower face.
-
Mental crease
This filler treatment is for the horizontal line between the lower lip and the chin. This area is smooth and flat when we are young but can get deeper with age and gradually forms a crease. Dermal filler can help to not only remove lines in this area but to also provide the structure and support required for the lips and lower half of the face.
-
Chin filler
These treatments are used to treat a variety of issues around the chin area. If you feel your chin is too pointy or even too pronounced we can help to recontour the areas around the chin and create a chin that is more harmonious with the face and less obtrusive.
If you feel your chin is set back and your profile could do with improving then we can bring your chin forward to create the ideal facial profile. If your face is too round or your lower face is too short we can create a longer, more youthful face for you.
If you don’t like your chin dimples and creases we can erase them for you. If the skin texture over your chin is not as supple and smooth as it used to be, the chin filler treatments can also help to resolve these issues.
If you have a double chin effect or saggy skin around your jawline, chin augmentation along with jawline augmentation could help you.
-
Jaw line
Jawline augmentation is a great treatment that is used to not only define the jaw line but to help pin back any loose saggy skin. Jawline augmentation can help to change the contours of the jaw to change the lower face shape.
For women, it is great to create a more uplifting jaw and better defined jaws reducing saggy skin. For men, jaw augmentation can be used to reduce saggy skin or if required to create a more masculine jaw.

-
What do dermal fillers involve?
This cosmetic procedure typically involves the injection of hyaluronic acid to add volume to tissue and fill wrinkles.
Some areas which we can inject with fillers include:
- The skin around the eye
- Cheeks
- Mouth and jawline
- Tissue around the lips
-
What are dermal fillers made of?
Dermal fillers can be either collagen, calcium hydroxyl or hyaluronic acid. In the past collagen fillers were used which caused reactions in some people and so are no longer used.
Some fillers are made of calcium hydroxyl apatite but can not be dissolved if needed to be removed for any reason.
Most fillers are now made of hyaluronic acid which naturally exists in the skin so there are no risk of allergies. Hyaluronic acid fillers produce the most natural results and are the safest as they can be dissolved if needed.
-
How long do fillers last?
Each brand and make of filler can last a different length of time. Some last around 6 months and others can last 12 to 18 months.
The part of the face the filler was placed in can also affect how long it lasts. Filler can wear off more quickly in mobile areas like the lips.
Filler that is more dense like those used for cheekbones or for the jawline will also last longer.
-
What types of dermal fillers do you offer?
We offer a wide range of dermal fillers – from lip fillers, to upper and lower face fillers and tear troughs. We also provide fillers for ear lobes and hands.
Read our Dermal Fillers Treatment Areas above and look at the price list for the full list.
-
Is dermal filler safe?
Dermal fillers are safe when the necessary precautions have been taken. It is important to use a hyaluronic acid filler that can be dissolved if required.
Collagen and hydroxylapatite fillers can not be dissolved and so if they block a vessel there is no easy way of unblocking the vessel.
It is important to use an FDA approved filler like Juvederm that has been through rigorous testing and clinical trials to approve its use as safe and effective.
-
Is there any downtime for dermal fillers?
If you encounter any particular symptoms, please feel free to give us a call. Usually, there’s minimal downtime for a dermal filler but you should expect potential swelling and bruising, in some cases.
-
Do dermal fillers hurt?
Dermal fillers are not surgical procedures, and therefore do not require any cuts, incisions or stitches.
You may feel discomfort as the fillers are injected, but our facial aesthetician specialist will go as slowly as you like. Many describe the feeling of a dermal filler to be like a tiny scratch, and it typically takes no more than 20 – 30 minutes.
If you are feeling concerned, we can apply some local anaesthetic to the area.
-
How much do fillers cost?
The cost of dermal fillers will mainly depend on the type of product that is used. Some filler brands are much cheaper than others. This may be because they are not FDA approved or they do not last very long.
Most clinics will charge based on the amount of filler that is used. Most syringes of filler are 1ml and prices will correspond to that amount. Some clinics may charge based on the area you are having treated but you may end up paying more than the amount you needed.
The cost of dermal fillers may then be further dependent on the clinic and the clinician. A CQC registered clinic with all the systems and protocols in place to ensure safe and sterile treatments may charge more than a beauty room with slightly different facilities.
A dentist or doctor will also be charging more than a beautician who should not be carrying out these procedures. The Juvederm Vycross range for example will cost around £400. Juvederm Ultra range which doesn’t last as long may be £300.
